Food Allergies
If you have chronic fatigue syndrome, Epstein Bar Syndrome, joint and muscle aches, headaches, drained and tired--find a Doctor that can do a food allergy test on you..It could be you are highly sensitive to certain foods which are causing these symptoms...one of the main food allergies is gluten and wheat...I was recently tested since I have had migraines since I was 15 and would experience the above symptoms. It has made a big difference in my health by cutting out the foods that I am highly sensitive to...which is gluten, yeast, wheat, eggs, bananas...I don't know why Doctors don't have their patients tested for food allergies when they have migraines or chronic fatigue/joint & muscle aches....It only makes sense...They give you a list of foods that can trigger migraines but don't have you tested for your own body's food allergies??!! Hello! Does that make sense?? You have to be your own doctor and be proactive in your health...read..research..request tests....

Here are 10 foods that can help decrease the inflammation and help prevent these deseases and cancer:
1. Salmon-high in omega-3 fatty acids, which reduce inflammation. Avoid farmraised salmon; its higher in arachidnic acid as well as toxins..
2. Walnuts-a source of omega-3s, also can help lower bad cholesterol...raw not salted.
3. Onions-high in quercetin, an antioxidant that inhibits enzymes that trigger inflammation. Quercetin is also found in dark grapes.
4. Blueberries-loaded with anthocyanins, a type of polyphenol antioxidant that boosts immunity and protects the body from free radicals, which trigger inflammation. Polyphenols are also found in green tea, another great antioxidant as well as white tea. Pomegranetes-even higher...
5. Sweet Potatoes-rich in caretenoids, antioxidants that boost immunity and minimize inflammation.

That is horrible and preventable by diet, exercise and supplements...Eat a healthy low fat diet ladies and get in your 30 minutes of cardio every day...Buy BPA-free water bottles/plastics...BPA is found in everything from plastics to epoxies to interior coating in many cans...more than 200 studies show links beween low doses of BPA and cancer, according to the Breast Cancer Fund...
Cancer fighters---Cruciferous veges such as broccoli and cabbage (in particular brocoli sprouts) are cancer fighting....flax seed ...fish oil...two anti-cancer herbs are green tea extract and curcumin(turmeric).

Healthy Beginnings
Hello Fellow Health Nuts....My passion for the healthy life actually started in 1985 when I read Harvey and Marilyn Diamond's book "Fit for Life"...I have always enjoyed exercising and grew up eating fresh veges and fruit...But then you go off to college and then the big city and you get into some bad eating habits...which all add up over the years....anyway...present day...i live, eat and breathe naturopathic-holistic lifestyle...I read and research constantly...so i will try to impart some of my knowledge that I am finding on my holistic journey...I have decided that this will be my career path the second half of my life....
